Antes de elegir el mío me puse a bocetar despreocupadamente los disponibles, en tono de broma.
Por supuesto que los mejores (Gyarados, Charizard, Articuno, Etc) ya estaban tomados.
Entonces me di cuenta, que si no podía elegir a uno de los mejores, tenía que elegir al segundo mejor: Ditto.
żPor qué? ˇPorque Ditto se puede transformar en cualquiera de todos!
Entonces cambié mi boceto mostrando un ejército de Dittos transformados en Lugia.
Pero la idea era un poco complicada de representar y no era suficiente, solamente era egoísta.
Entonces cuando estaba buscando otro enfoque la voz de Gonzalo Angueira resonó en mi memoria:
"Tendrías que dibujarlos a todos"
Me di cuenta que esa era la mejor manera de representar el potencial de Ditto: 150 Ditto convertidos en los 150 pokémon originales.
Así que este es mi autodesafío:
Dibujar 5 pókemon por día para tener los 150 en un mes.
Acá están los primeros cinco y el resto los voy a ir poniendo en la carpeta correspondiente: DíA 1
Deseenme suerte y... a dibujarlos a todos!
It turns out that some guys in my town are recreating the local version of Pokémon Battle Royale: 151 Artists illustrate the 151 original Pokémon.
Before choosing mine, I started scetching loose the available ones, kidding.
Of course the best ones (Gyarados, Charizard, Articuno, etc) were already taken.
Then I realized that if I can't choose one of the best, I had to choose the second best: Ditto.
Why? Because Ditto can transform into any of them!
Then I changed my sketch showing an army of Ditto transformed into Lugia.
But the idea was a bit complicated to represent and not enough, just selfish.
So when I was looking for another approach, the voice of a friend echoed in my memory:
"You should draw them all"
I realized that this was the best way to represent the Ditto's potential: 150 Ditto turned into the 150 original Pokemon.
So this is my auto-challenge:
To draw 5 Pokémon a day, 150 in one month.
Here are the first five and I will be uploading the rest in the appropriate folder: DAY 1
Wish me luck and ... gotta draw 'em all!
